When it comes to winter whites, there are cozy athleisure sets, sleek suits, and dresses topped with faux-fur coats — and then there's what Anne Hathaway wore.
On Friday, the actress made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon dressed like the ultimate winter dream in a head-to-toe white outfit with an after-dark twist. Wearing a high-waisted white midi skirt with a soaring side slit outlined in silver sequins, Hathaway added a coordinating cropped corset that featured bedazzled beading in a lattice-style pattern on top. She accessorized with silver platform heels and loads of diamonds — including a collection of rings, bracelets, and a pair of drop earrings.
Her chocolate brown hair was worn down in tousled waves with a side part, and she completed her glam with a swirl of rosy blush and pink lipgloss.
Pictured outside of Rockefeller Center ahead of the show, Hathaway didn't break the winter white theme, and wrapped up in a long white coat that skimmed the floor.
During the late-night show, Hathaway spoke about her latest project, the psychological thriller Eileen, in which she plays psychologist Dr. Rebecca Saint John at a juvenile boys' prison. “This film was super-duper intense,” she told Fallon, before demonstrating for him and the audience how to do a primal scream like hers in the film. She instructed, "There's no trick. Just let it out guys."
