Harry Styles and Taylor Swift are friendly exes. When Styles was awarded his first-ever Grammy for Best Pop Solo Performance for "Watermelon Sugar," Swift was seen clapping for and cheering on her ex.
And it gets even better: they were even seen having a friendly conversation after Styles won his award — their first public conversing since their 2013 split. It looks like the conversation went fairly well because Swift seemed animated and Styles was even laughing at one point.
Of course, time heals all wounds, and they've both grown since the split. They also both have new significant others, as well. Swift has been with British actor Joe Alwyn for over four years and Harry Styles has recently started dating actress Olivia Wilde, after meeting on the set of their new movie Don't Worry Darling.
Swift even gave her man a major shoutout during her speech for winning Album of the Year. "Joe, who is the first person that I play every single song that I write, and I had the best time writing songs with you in quarantine," she said.
Swift and Styles started dating in late 2012 until early 2013, and it's been said that Swift's song "Style" on her 1989 album is very much about her relationship with the "Adore You" singer — given the name of the song it's pretty clear who it's about. Styles once told Howard Stern last year that he was "flattered" by the song.
"I think about what it means to me to write a song about somebody else and for somebody else to do that, it's like flattering, even if the song isn't that flattering, you still spent time on it and ultimately, using Taylor as an example, she's a great songwriter," he told Stern, according to E! News. "So at least they're good songs,"
