Over the weekend, the stars came out in droves for Katy Perry's final Las Vegas show, and amongst the A-listers in the audience were Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, who treated the concert as their latest date night venue.
Spotted in the VIP section along with the duchess's fashion designer friend Misha Nonoo and her husband, Mike Hess, Meghan and Harry wore coordinating all-black outfits for the occasion. Meghan, for her part, opted for a black beaded sleeveless minidress by Valentino and a matching pair of black Christian Louboutin heels. She pulled her hair back into a low ponytail with face-framing pieces, and accessorized with a pair of chunky gold hoop earrings. Meanwhile, Harry matched his wife in a black suit with a black button-down underneath.
In fan-captured footage shared to X, Meghan and Misha were seen dancing and clapping their hands as Katy performed her hit song "Roar," while Harry looked less amused nodding his head in the background.
The Sussexes first became friendly with Perry and Orlando Bloom after the couple moved down the street from them in Montecito, California. During a May 2021 appearance on Dax Shepard's Armchair Expert podcast, Harry shared a funny story about how they bonded over their shared frustration with the paparazzi.
“Just two days ago, Orlando Bloom sent me a message — because he’s just down the road and we sort of keep in contact because of the paparazzi — he sent me a photograph which his security got of this long-haired guy with a beanie on, with his ear pods in, with his massive camera lying in the back of his 4x4 truck,” Harry said at the time. “A woman driving who did the peace sign sitting there as a distraction, and he is laid down in the back of this truck taking photographs of them out with their kid and whoever else is in that area.”
