Olivia Rodrigo may have been a literal infant when the early 2000s first came around, but that didn't stop her from living her Y2K truth alongside one of the era's founding fathers, Paris Hilton, while celebrating her Grammy Awards success on Sunday.
After taking home three awards (Best New Artist, Pop Vocal Album, and Pop Solo Performance) for "Drivers License" and her debut album, Sour at her first-ever Grammys, Olivia dazzled at the after-party. Of course, not just anyone could get into the star-studded event, but (lucky for us) Olivia shared a trio of photos from the night on her Instagram.
Channeling the pop divas who came before her (see: Dua Lipa and Mariah Carey), Olivia's pictures showed her posing in a bright blue halter minidress featuring a butterfly embellishment, high-low hem, and a deep v-neck that plunged all the way down to her midriff. Olivia's hair was expertly swept into a spiky bun that screamed Y2K, and the singer accessorized with blue drop earrings and a glitzy silver bag.
The other photos in the post showed Olivia dancing alongside Paris — who was wearing a flashy green and silver long-sleeve dress, bedazzled headphones, and shield sunglasses — in the DJ's booth. Another snap captured the words, "baby's first Grammys" projected onto the wall.
Olivia's after-party look wasn't the only famous Grammys moment she recreated on Sunday: The 19-year-old singer accidentally dropped and broke one of her golden gramophones when posing backstage — just like Taylor Swift's famous faux pas back in 2010. Rodrigo has expressed her adoration for Swift in the past, so it's only fitting the pop star gave a nod to her musical muse on Grammys night — whether intentional or not.
