Is it just me, or is anyone else suddenly having a harder time getting up and getting dressed in the morning? The temperature maxing out at 40 degrees and the sun setting before 5 p.m. has made my desire to stay in my pajamas and plush bathrobe hard to combat. Nonetheless, I’ve been trying to find ways to trick myself into dressing for success instead of just rolling out of bed, while also staying warm and comfortable.
Matching sweat sets have become my low-lift uniform that’ve made getting out of bed so much easier. I’ve bought so many styles in multiple colors, but I can’t stop wearing this BP. Oversize Crewneck Sweatshirt and Fleece Joggers set from Nordstrom.
BP. Oversize Crewneck Sweatshirt
The crewneck sweatshirt comes in nine colors, including light blue, pink, red, tan, gray, and black, plus sizes XXS through XL. It features an oversized fit that falls a few inches below the hip, ribbed finishings at the neckline, cuffs, and hem, and a slight drop shoulder. There’s also a good amount of stretch through the body for added comfort, a heavier weight for maximum warmth, and a snuggly inner fleece lining that’s soft on the skin.
BP. Fleece Joggers
The matching fleece-lined joggers come in seven matching colors and sizes, and feature a loose, relaxed fit, two spacious side-seam pockets, and elastic at the waistband and ankle cuffs to keep cool air out.
This matching sweatshirt and jogger set has been a game changer in feeling put together without all the hassle of dressing up. I’m able to just toss these on for a day of lounging at home, and then go in and out of the house to walk my dogs or run errands. I literally feel like I’m still in my pajamas — they’re that comfortable, and with both pieces being fleece-lined, I’m super warm. They’re perfectly oversized without looking baggy, which makes them great for layering.
I like that the sleeves and cuffs are longer, so I can style them rolled up for a relaxed look. And on days when I have the capacity to jazz up the look a bit, I mix and match them with other pieces in my wardrobe, pairing the sweatpants with a fitted long-sleeve shirt and sneakers and draping the sweatshirt over my shoulders for a more polished look, I’ll layer a turtleneck or oversized button-up under the sweatshirt and style it with jeans or trousers and a pair of loafers.
