After igniting Hollywood's great bathing debate, Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are finally putting the controversy surrounding their family's hygiene habits to bed (or to the tub?) once and for all.
On Wednesday, the couple shared a hilarious video of them bathing their two kids — Wyatt Isabelle, 6, and Dimitri Portwood, 4 — on Instagram, following their viral remarks about how they only give their children a bath "if you can see the dirt on them." In the video, Kunis and Kutcher filmed themselves inside their bathroom as their kids took a shower, and that's when the hysterics ensued.
"You're putting water on the children?" Kutcher asked Kunis in complete disbelief. "Are you trying to melt them? Are you trying to injure them with water?" With his wife unable to stop laughing, Kutcher turned the camera to himself, jokingly shouting: "This is ridiculous! What's going on?"
Kunis responded, "We're bathing our children."
"That's like the fourth time this week!" Kutcher yelled back, to which Kunis agreed: "It's too much." The actor continued his rant, adding, "Their body oils are gonna be destroyed! What are you trying to do?"
Last month, Mila and Ashton inadvertently sparked a polarizing conversation about how often you should bathe during an appearance Armchair Expert podcast. Revealing that they take a less is more approach, the couple admitted to only regularly cleaning their necessities — "pits and tits and holes and soles," as Mila put it.
Kutcher said he subscribes to a similar mindset: "I wash my armpits and crotch daily, and nothing else ever."
