Christina Aguilera's long, platinum-blonde hair has become one of her signatures, but today, she showed off a short, wet-looking bob while letting her fans know that she's coming back to Las Vegas. The "Dirrty" singer and pop icon (just ask Dua Lipa) is bringing a brand-new show to Voltaire Belle de Nuit at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, set to kick off New Year’s Eve weekend. And while that news was enough to make headlines, Xtina shared the announcement via a snap that showed her new hair and a super sexy, sheer corset.
Aguilera's new 'do, which may be the result of a very, very good wig, was styled wet and barely reached her jawline and maintained her trademark blonde. She paired the look with a dramatic smoky eye and deep, nearly black lipliner that coordinated with her boudoir-ready corset. She finished the look with shimmering heels and a show-stopping diamond necklace.
Aguilera's new residency comes after The Xperience, the run of 24 shows she hosted in Sin City back in 2019 and 2020 at the Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood.
"I look forward to bringing Las Vegas a new show that fuses music, sophistication, and art in ways I have never performed before. What I love about the intimacy at Voltaire at The Venetian Resort is how up-close-and-personal I can be with the audience … a truly modern twist on the performance experience,” Aguilera said in a statement. Her new show is set to be a "heartfelt love letter from Christina to her fans" set in an intimate, 1,000-seat theater.
“Our goal at Voltaire is to have the most elegant and intimate nightlife and superstar artist experiences in Las Vegas,” Michael Gruber, founder of Voltaire, added. “We are beyond proud to bring the incredibly talented Christina Aguilera to our stage to highlight that Voltaire experience we are determined to deliver.”
Tickets for Christina’s new residency go on sale Oct. 13, 2023, at voltairelv.com.
