Dakota Johnson is all business with her latest red carpet look. The Saturday Night Live host and bangs icon stepped out in London today to promote her new Spider-Man film, Madame Web (which has her teaming up with Sydney Sweeney, Isabela Merced, and Emma Roberts). For the occasion, she swapped her usual gowns and jumpsuits for a two-piece set that brought together a sleek, stealthy midi-length skirt with a super-cropped blazer.
She opted to go shirtless under the blazer, which featured a simple lapel and cropped silhouette that gave a tiny peek of skin over the waistband of her skirt. She finished the look with a pair of black pumps and didn't add a necklace but did wear earrings with the ensemble. She wore her signature brunette hair down, with the polished waves almost reaching her waist.
If you, like many other Johnson stans, are wondering how she felt swapping her usual acting roles for web-slinging, Johnson was excited to try something new. She even revealed that she did some of her own stunts, though she wasn't ready to throw herself out of a building — yet.
“I got to do a day of stunt driving work, and I’m really good at it, it seems!” she told Entertainment Weekly. “I mean, I can do some really wild things with a car. I drove an ambulance. I drove a taxicab. I drove everything in the movie — except for flying through the air and out of a building. But other than that, I’m like, ‘Watch out, Tom Cruise.’”
She continued to say that one action-movie standby made her uncomfortable: working with special effects and blue screens.
“I’ve never really done a movie where you are on a blue screen,” she continued. "There’s fake explosions going off, and someone’s going, ‘Explosion!’ and you act like there’s an explosion. That, to me, was absolutely psychotic.”
