Dua Lipa is a fashion chameleon: she can pull off any article of clothing no matter how chaotic, from tiny sheer Gucci bras to velvet catsuits and rompers. So, it's anything but surprising that the singer put her usual bold twist on a classic in her latest Instagram photo dump.
On Tuesday, the hitmaker shared a series of images to Instagram showing off her punk-inspired all-black 'fit consisting of a deconstructed-looking black dress with the highest leg slit and straps made out of snap-adorned plackets that ran along her body and cascaded to the floor. She styled the reimagined LBD with ultra-sheer black stockings, matching knee-high boots, and a floor-skimming trench coat.
Lipa accessorized with silver hoop earrings, a matching choker with a ball pendant, and a black bag with a silver horse-bit detail.
The carousel detailed Lipa's visit teamLab Planets, a permanent art exhibition in Tokyo. Aside from giving a fans a look at her 'fit, Lipa also shared videos and photos from the installation. In one boomerang-style clip, Dua crouched down and posed with a crowd of people while taking a group mirror selfie.
"Last night I had a fun intimate get-together at @teamlab.planets to celebrate the release of Houdini 🔐🖤," she captioned the post. "so great to meet you all and spend some time!! Thank you for all the love & support." She ended her message by writing, "どうもありがとうございます," which translates to "thank you very much" in English.
Lipa arrived to Japan earlier this week and celebrated with a tea ceremony. She shared the experience to her Instagram with a roundup of snaps that captured her in traditional Japanese garb. "Kicked off my Tokyo trip with the sweetest invitation to a traditional tea ceremony 🍵🍥🌸🫘so happy to be hereeeeee!!!"
