Dua Lipa Has the Most Relatable Approach to Dating

Our girl Dua Lipa is single and ready to mingle. However, she just admitted dating can be hard as a celebrity — and while that is a totally valid point, dating is pretty "confusing" for everyone, no matter who you are.

In a new interview with Rolling Stone, the pop sensation opened up about her dating life, confirming that she is, in fact, single. And, even the Dua Lipa finds dating to be a bit daunting. “Dating, I think overall, is just a little confusing,” she refreshingly told the publication.

Her approach to dating may be slightly less relatable than your average person (you know, being that she's a Grammy winner and all), although most people would probably find her method the ideal way of meeting someone.

“It’s either through friends of friends or people you trust where you can meet new people, because [dating] is not really so straightforward when you are, I guess, a public person," she said.

Since ending her relationship with Anwar Hadid in 2022, Lipa has been dipping her toe back into the dating pool. She even made her red carpet debut with French filmmaker Romain Gavras last year, though that relationship seemingly fizzled out. Lipa explained that she has a much more mature approach to breakups these days.

“When you have a feeling like that one, you feel really grown because you’re like, ‘Oh, whoa, I’m such an evolved human being that I can see my ex move on and feel good about it,’” she said. “I think I’ve had breakups in my life where I felt like the only kind of breakup you could have was when things just ended really badly. Things ending in a nice way was such a new thing … It taught me a lot.”
