If there was one style of dress that led the pack this summer (let alone all of 2023), it was the beloved naked dress. And it doesn’t look like the style is going anywhere anytime soon, because Emily Ratajkowski, the queen of naked fashion, just breathed new life into the trend with her latest outfit.

On Thursday, the model was spotted at the afterparty for Vogue World: London at The George Mayfair in London, where she was dressed in an outfit that was made for the 2000s. For the occasion, she slipped on a completely see-through, knitted LBD that was slashed and shredded, offering glimpses at her abs (and just about everything else, including a pair of black underwear). EmRata put a Y2K twist on the mesh LBD with a black skinny scarf, and added a pair of black patent leather pointed-toe heels with coordinating knitted socks, as well as a black handbag to her look.

She ditched her “glazed amber” hair and returned to her signature dark brunette shade, styling it in tousled waves with forehead fringe pushed to the sides. As for the rest of her glam, she opted for a barely-there makeup look comprised of a dewy complexion, subtle winged eyeliner, and glossy lips.

In case you didn't know, EmRata has had a taste for 2000s-inspired looks for quite some time now. Take, for instance, last year when she was spotted dressed for the early aughts in an ombré halter dress with a cowl-neck and no back. And earlier this summer, she sported a minidress paired with a big belt slung across her hips and slouchy knee-high leather boots.
