Olivia Rodrigo Puts a New Spin on Holiday Style in a Fuzzy Grinch-Green Top

'Tis the season for holiday dressing. And while for some that means piling on the sequins and metallics, for others, it can be as simple as incorporating festive colors and fabrics into their wardrobe without sacrificing their signature everyday style. 

Just look at Olivia Rodrigo, who recently got into the Christmas spirit while staying true to her grunge-girl persona at the Saturday Night Live afterparty in Manhattan. For the late-night outing, the singer put a Y2K spin on holiday fashion with a fuzzy crop top in a bright green color reminiscent of the Grinch and a pair of black shiny satin pants that featured an ultra low-rise waistband and a flare-leg silhouette. Rodrigo finished off her look with tall platform boots in black, a dark manicure, and a tiny black patent-leather shoulder bag. 

She wore her long brunette hair down in loose, middle-parted waves, and added winged eyeliner and a matte pink lip to her glam. 

Just a day earlier, Olivia took the same approach with her holiday style at the 2023 iHeart Radio Jingle Ball. On that occasion, the pop star opted for a red vintage Versace minidress that equal parts naughty and nice. The dress, which was part of Gianni Versace's 1996 couture collection, featured a sheer bodice with crystal embellishments and a leather skirt on bottom. The festiveness of the frock was offset by a pair of black lace-up combat boots and matching knee-high socks.
