Just a few days after she shut down the red carpet in a long, teal gown with floor-sweeping sleeves, Kate Middleton stepped into another all-blue outfit, suggesting that perhaps the Princess of Wales has entered a blue era — and when someone looks this stunning in blue, why not embrace it? People reports that Kate swapped out her formal wear for a business-ready suit to attend an event to commemorate the opening of the Children’s Day Surgery Unit at Evelina London Children's Hospital, of which Kate has been a patron since 2018. For the occasion, Kate wore a teal Alexander McQueen suit that was similar in color to the gown that she wore to the Royal Variety Performance late last week, which she attended with her husband, Prince William.
She paired her sleek and slim suit, which featured statement shoulders and cropped pants, with a black belt, stiletto heels, and a coordinating blue knit top. She added a shimmering necklace and sapphire-and-diamond drop earrings to finish off the all-blue look and wore her hair in her signature blown-out waves. She previously wore the earrings to a 2022 Commonwealth Day Service at Westminster Abbey and a special meeting with Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky and his wife, first lady Olena Zelenska.
Kate's blue suit comes after her Safiyaa gown and a dress by Emilia Wickstead, which she wore to greet Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden when they arrived to Windsor Castle for an official state visit last week.
Crown Princess Victoria made a rare comment about meeting the Prince and Princess of Wales, telling Aftonbladet that everyone had a great time during the events of the visit.
"It's always fun. We share a lot and it feels very natural and easy to meet,” Victoria told the Swedish newspaper. “They are nice people who do a lot for their country. We exchange thoughts and ideas and share many interests.”
