A few weeks have passed since Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker finally welcomed their first child together after years of trying, and now, we finally have confirmation on the newborn’s official name and birth date.
According to a birth certificate obtained by People, the couple named their new baby boy Rocky Thirteen Baker, whom they welcomed on Wednesday, Nov. 1, at a Los Angeles hospital (which makes him a Scorpio, for those of you keeping track).
While this news marks the first time that baby Rocky’s name and birthday were officially confirmed, it isn’t the first time that Barker has spoken about his affinity towards the name. Back in October, the Blink 182 drummer opened up about his wife’s pregnancy — including their newborn’s expected moniker and due date — during an appearance on the One Life One Chance with Toby Morse podcast.
“There's a benefit for Hawaii that we were going to do, but it's the week that Rocky's due,” Barker shared when asked why he had to miss a specific benefit concert. “Rocky Thirteen Barker.”
“Such a hard name, man,” Morse said, prompting Barker to reply, “I was like he's going to come out of ... my wife's vagina doing front kicks and push-ups and…”
Elsewhere in the interview, Travis hinted at baby Rocky’s expected arrival when telling Morse, “It's either Halloween or like the first week of November.”
Rocky will join Kardashian’s three children, Penelope, Reign, and Mason (whom she shares with ex Scott Disick), and Barker’s children, Alabama, Landon, and stepdaughter Atiana (whom he shares with ex-wife Shanna Moakler).
