When it comes to makeup, Megan Fox never misses. While many of her looks are classic and sultry, the star isn't afraid to take risks. From soft and romantic to bold and vivid, Fox's makeup looks are something we always return to for inspiration.
Of course, Jenna Kristina, Fox's makeup artist, is the one to thank for many of her show-stopping looks. Here, we spoke with the pro about her favorite collaborations with Fox, highlighting 15 of Fox's best makeup moments to date.

Bronze Goddess
Bronze smoky eyes, glowing skin, and glossy lips – what more could you ask for? Although makeup does the heavy lifting for this look, Kristina says Fox's radiant skin comes courtesy of rigorous skincare. "Megan is very involved in her skin-care routine," says Kristina. "Not only does she take incredible care of it herself, but her best friend , Mindi Walters, is actually an incredible esthetician. So for big events, Mindi comes and does oxygen treatments and works her magic."
How exactly does Kristina get Megan's face so snatched? "We love red light and cryo tools, which are amazing when traveling to help with puffiness," she says. Kristina also touts Pauly Blanch's Time Master Pro with Hop+ Collagen Gel ($700) as the super tool to lift and tone Megan's face. "Basically, we do it all. Skin prep is always the most important part of any makeup application."
Contoured and Highlighted
A signature look we see time and again on Fox is sculpted cheekbones with just the right amount of highlighting. "The key is to layer the makeup, but lightly so it doesn’t appear too heavy," says Kristina. "Megan's makeup tends to stay on really well and doesn’t move. Sometimes, I'll do her makeup in the morning for an evening event." Two staple products Kristina consistently uses are NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer ($32) and Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Treatment Concealer ($11).
Nude and Neutral Eyes
When building Megan's signature eyeshadow looks, "I usually create a neutral eye first and then add something special," says Kristina. "Nude eyeshadow always helps to create the perfect shape first." Eyeliner is something that is always included in a Megan Fox makeup look. Sometimes it's simple black or brown, and other times it's dramatic. There's always a cat eye — it's become a staple for her. A favorite liner of Kristina's to use on Megan is the Maybelline Hyper Easy Brush Tip Liquid Liner ($10) in both "Pitch Brown and Pitch Black," noting it's easy to apply and stays for hours.
A Vibe on Its Own
When deciding which makeup look to create, Kristina let's the fashion guide her. "Most of the time, the outfit is chosen first so the makeup is a direct reflection of that vibe," she says. "I always ask my clients 'Who is the person that would wear this?' or 'Who are you going to be tonight?' It’s a great way to start the conversation of how we would portray that version of self."
Kristina noted that for this particular look, "The latex red dress was a statement on its own. I’m not usually a red-lip-with-a-red-dress kind of girl. It felt a little too obvious, so I did a more dramatic eye instead. We love lashes — any and all kinds. The key is to always choose strips or apply individuals that are longer towards the outer eye to help create the ultimate cat eye. Always apply makeup in a lifting upward motion."
Deep Burgundy Lip
"The burgundy lip was based on the Givenchy chain around her outfit," says Kristina — another nod to how outfits can inspire makeup and so much more. If you're planning makeup for a special event, she suggests trying the look beforehand to see if it lasts because "everyone's skin reacts differently to things."
Pink, Pink, Pink!
The pink theme woven throughout this look shows how the same color family can be used without identical shades. The eyes have a beautiful shimmering pink shadow, while the lips and cheeks have a slightly different hue, working together to create a masterpiece.
Sharp Eyeliner
Sharp eyeliner is a glamorous move that always flatters Fox, so we can see why it's a staple in every look she wears. For this look, the liner is applied precisely to the inner and outer corners, creating enough drama for any special occasion.
Flirty, Fluttering Lashes
Soft skin and lips worn with full, feathered eyelashes is the romantic makeup look that keeps on giving. By choosing different styles of false lashes, you can change a makeup look instantly — making it all the more fun to create.
Soft Glam
Shimmering metallic shadow with softly sculpted skin and nude, lined lips come together to create this soft-glam look. To make her eyes pop, the brows are bold, while the liner and lashes add just the right amount of definition.
Statement Queen
Clearly, Megan is never afraid to make a statement. This makeup look is just as balanced as it is glamorous. Structured eyes with full lashes, soft skin, and a sensual red lip work together to turn every head on the red carpet.
Sultry Shimmer
You can't go wrong with shimmering shadow, contoured skin, and glossy lips. Start by lining the lips to add shape, then go in with cream lipstick for color and definition. Finally, apply gloss to the center of the lips as the final touch.
Touch of Mauve
Matte mauve lips and bronze skin play well together, especially when you're wearing bright colors during the warmer-weather months. To ensure a matte lip stays all day without feathering, try applying a primer, like Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Primer ($16).
Glowing, Flushed Skin
A radiant, glowing complexion is always in style. In order to recreate this type of skin look, use a brush to apply a primer like Saie Beauty Glowy Super Gel Lightweight Dewy Multipurpose Illuminator in "Starglow" ($28) all over the face before foundation.
Vibrant Lip
A bold lip can instantly brighten and wake up your complexion, and Megan always wins when wearing vibrant hues. If you're not comfortable wearing so much color, you can experiment with sheer, yet pigmented options.
Bright Eyes, Can't Lose
White eyeliner on the inner rims of the eyes brightens and makes it appear that you've slept at least nine hours (even if you haven't). This is a great trick for refreshing your eyes and complexion while traveling or going straight from a long work day to an important event.
