Take note: no matter the season or the occasion, it's never a bad idea to look like a hot girl. And Megan Thee Stallion knows that better than anyone, which is why her latest holiday look eschews all the usual party trappings, like sequins, glitter, and fuzzy trims for a dizzying pattern, cutouts, cutouts, and more cutouts.
The outfit in question was featured in the superstar rapper's latest Instagram dump, which showed off Meg's Afro hairstyle, huge earrings, and a skintight striped-and-zigzagged catsuit with a halter neckline and diamond-shaped cutouts sprinkled across the bodice, sides, torso, and legs. She finished the look with a subtle smoky eye, stacks of chain-link diamond bangles, and matching gray heels, which could be seen in her fourth photo.
Meg, whose real name is Megan Jovon Ruth Pete, captioned the photos with thee brown heart emoji and the roundup also included a few short video clips of her feeling herself in the 'fit.
While Meg hasn't released an album since 2022's Traumazine, she has been keeping busy by releasing several singles, including "Cobra." She also collaborated with Mean Girls star Renée Rapp for their song "Not My Fault," which is a play on Rapp's Mean Girls character Regina George. Meg also has a song on the Color Purple soundtrack, which is rumored to be a remix of "Hell No!," a song performed by Danielle Brooks in the film.
One reason for the delay of a full-length album may be because Megan left her record label, 1501 Certified Entertainment, back in October. Billboard reported that the two parties “mutually reached a confidential settlement to resolve their legal differences,” which had lasted for over three years, and would “amicably part ways.”
“Cobra” was released under Hot Girl Productions LLC. On Dec. 12, Billboard reported that “a source at Warner Music Group confirmed to Billboard that the artist has signed a distribution agreement with the company that includes services from a select global team."
