Michelle Pfeiffer is, and always will be, the blueprint for strong, sexy style — thanks to her role as Elvira Hancock in the 1983 crime-thriller Scarface. And she seemingly channeled her character's iconic fashion sense while attending the 2024 Environmental Media Association Awards gala in Los Angeles on Saturday.
For the occasion, Pfeiffer made a rare red carpet appearance and delivered an updated take on Elvira's white power suit in the film. Bringing the memorable outfit up to today's style standards, the actress opted for flowing wide-leg pants in lieu of a high-slit skirt and added a silk lace-trimmed camisole (perhaps a nod to the slinky slip dresses Elvira was known for) underneath her matching waist-cinching blazer — sans shoulder pads, of course.
Pfeiffer finished off her all-white look with black accessories, including an oversized black leather clutch and pointed-toe heels. She styled her blonde hair down in loose waves with face-framing layers and a middle part, and rounded out her glam with a pink lipgloss and rose-colored cheeks.
Power suits appear to be Pfeiffer's style go-to these days. Back in November 2023, she made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and wore a Canadian tuxedo paired with a black floral turtleneck and platform boots, and months before that, Michelle opted for another iteration — this time, sporting a black velvet plunging blazer and a matching maxi skirt.
