Even supermodels need a bolt of energy sometimes, which is perhaps why 50-year-old household name Cindy Crawford headed to her go-to Malibu, Calif. java spot (Starbucks, naturally) recently for a caffeine fix. While the star has mastered the tricky art of red carpet dressing, we’re equally obsessed with her casual daytime looks.

Case in point: this denim on denim ensemble that’s not only easy to replicate, but also offers a lesson in styling. To bring the two pieces together, Crawford paired her dark wash jeans with a long-sleeved shirt of a lighter shade, cuffing the sleeves and delivering a slight tuck for extra cool. She paired the look with all-white Nike sneakers, oversize shades, and a black geometric handbag.

The best part? It looks like the mom of two wasn’t alone in her coffee sipping adventures, considering she also carried two other hot cups in one tray, possibly for her two fashion newcomer children, Presley, 16, and Kaia Gerber, 14. Earlier last month, Crawford hit her Southern California town for a shopping trip with Kaia, in which the two matched in no-frills jeans and comfortable accessories.
