Nicole Kidman Paired Her Leg-Baring Skirt With a Blair Waldorf Signature on the Red Carpet

Blair Waldorf has been inspiring people's closets since Gossip Girl first hit the airwaves back in 2007, and her preppy Upper East Side style is still influencing the masses, nearly two decades later. Just look at Nicole Kidman, whose latest red carpet look packed a practical punch — thanks to one of Blair's signature accessories. 

On Thursday, the actress attended the opening party for the Planet Omega Exhibition in New York City, and wore a black off-the-shoulder top that featured a bow at the neckline, a matching black silky skirt with a leg-baring slit on side and a flowing train on the other end, and a trusty pair of sheer black tights. And while Blair might've gone for a more colorful stocking or a patterned pair, the look nonetheless had Queen B written all over it — all that's missing was a headband.

Kidman finished off her evening attire with black pointed-toe pumps, a pair of statement earrings, and a gold wristwatch. Her fiery red hair was pulled back into a polished low ponytail with loose pieces tucked behind her ears, and she teamed a glossy pink lip with bronze eyeshadow and dewy skin. 

Just twenty-four hours earlier, Kidman was at the 2023 CMA Awards with her husband Keith Urban in another all-black ensemble that showed off her impeccable abs. For the award show, the Oscar winner slipped on a black plunging dress with side cutouts and the coolest triangular-shaped hardware that connected the bodice of her gown to its skirt. A shimmering bracelet, a smattering of silver rings, and a little black bag rounded out her red carpet look.
