Sofia Vergara Expertly Dressed Up Her Canadian Tuxedo With Knee-High Leather Boots

ICYMI, denim on denim is having a moment this season. From Anne Hathaway’s double-denim CFDA Fashion Awards set (a la Britney Spears’s infamous AMAs look) to Rihanna’s denim-centric date night look, celebrities can’t get enough of Canadian tuxedos. The latest star to become a blue jean baby? None other than Sofía Vergara, who elevated her take on the trend with knee-high boots and a designer handbag.

The actress debuted her double-denim look while out and about in Los Angeles on Saturday while shopping alongside a group of friends. For the occasion, Vergara slipped into a blue denim button-up long-sleeve (complete with a curved, distressed hem) and a matching pair of light-wash blue skinny jeans. Sofía tucked her pants into knee-high black leather heeled booties to help break up the denim, and she accessorized further with a black quilted Chanel bag, gold cuff bracelets, diamond earrings, and brown-tinted sunglasses.

As for glam, the A-lister wore her brunette hair down straight with a middle part and kept her glam to a minimum, opting for a bright complexion and a pink lip.

While Vergara may have spent the day shopping with her gal pals, the outing came just weeks after she reunited with some of her closest friends when hosting a Modern Family cast reunion at her Los Angeles home.

Earlier this month, the actress shared a roundup of photos from the gathering on Instagram, which saw her posing alongside the entire cast (save for Ty Burrell) and the show’s creators, Steve Levitan and Christopher Lloyd.

“So lucky to have worked with this people for 11 years❤️. I love and miss u all guys!!! #modernfamily,” Vergara captioned the dump, to which Jesse Tyler Ferguson commented, “Thanks for hosting Sofia!!!! Love you.”
