Taylor Swift and Lana Del Ray were thick as thieves at the 2024 Grammy Awards. They walked the red carpet together, sported matching black lace fans, and even had a makeup twinning moment, both wearing midnight-black cat eye liner.
It's a classic look that both stars wear often, but something about seeing the two wearing it side-by-side is giving us major twin vibes. Del Ray's liner is courtesy of celebrity makeup artist Etienne Ortega. Ortega used Charlotte Tilbury's The Feline Flick in Panther to create Del Ray's crisp wing. We're not positive about the specific product used to create Swift's look, but we do know that the singer loves Pat McGrath and that she partnered with the iconic MUA to create the look for her 2022 music video for "Bejewled." So there's a chance she's wearing the Perma Precision Liquid Eyeliner in XTREME BLACK.
Both took a similar approach to their eye makeup with neutral matte shadows and thick, sharp cat eyes. Swift added a bit of shimmer to her look with a champagne hued shadow concentrated on her lids and carried the liner to her lower water line. And, of course, she paired it with her signature red lip. Del Ray kept the look light, opting for a soft brown lining for her lower water line and her lips, adding a pretty nude pink lipstick. The two takes on the classic look are gorge.
