Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce reportedly had a very merry Swiftmas this year.
According to a source at The Daily Mail, the couple spent the holiday together with their families at Kelce's Kansas City home following the Chiefs vs. Raiders game at Arrowhead Stadium on Monday. Swift brought her dad, Scott, mom, Andrea, and brother, Austin, to the gathering, while the NFL star's dad, Ed, was also in attendance.
"Seeing their families together on such a special holiday was the best gift ever for Taylor. She's never had this happen before and it made the holiday the most meaningful one for her," a source close to the pop star exclusively told the outlet, adding: "Her friends think that this is just more proof that Travis is going to be a Swiftie for life."
If the rumors are believed to be true, the blending of their families is just another step closer to an engagement. Earlier this month, a source at Page Six claimed that the tight end asked Swift's dad for his permission to marry her and had already picked out a ring. "Scott has been asked for his blessing and has wholeheartedly given it, and Travis has been talking to friends about a ring,” the insider said.
While a proposal seemingly didn't take place over Christmas, there's still time. Taylor and Travis are expected to be ringing in the New Year together in Kansas City following the NFL star's game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Dec. 31.
Here's to hoping Travis will go home with a win and a wife-to-be.
