My Mom and I Can't Stop Wearing Pants From the Comfy Brand Gwyneth Paltrow Is "Obsessed" With

According to my high school self, my mom and I had incredibly different styles. To me, she “didn’t get it,” when in reality she just had the common sense to leave the hair feathers and flower crowns behind. Fast forward to 2024, it turns out she was a fashionista all along, as now I’m basically a carbon copy of her. While we both rely on stylish essentials like jeans and sky-high pumps, we also never turn down a comfy fashion moment — which is why we’re obsessed with Vuori.

If you haven’t heard of Vuori, it’s the high-quality athleisure brand inspired by Encinitas, California, which is totally in line with our Cali roots. Offering a range of sweatpants, hoodies, leggings, sports bras, and more, there’s something for everyone — including Gwyneth Paltrow who said she’s “obsessed” with the brand’s gear. After seeing how successful Vuori was among A-listers, my mom and I decided to put the brand to the test and — spoiler alert —  it lives up to the hype.    

My mom tested three separate pieces: the Scout jogger, Pose fitted tee, and teddy pullover. First and foremost, she loved how soft everything was. “The pieces fit very comfortably but also make me feel put-together and confident,” she said. She continued to explain that the wide selection of colors and designs is great for customization, saying she “loved” the army green and white combo she went with. My mom even styled her Vuori outfit on a plane ride back from Arizona, plus, she revealed she wears the tee on a weekly basis and doesn’t go over two weeks without reaching for her comfortable joggers. “They truly look and fit so great,” my mom concluded.
