While you were getting over the Hump Day blues, Anne Hathaway was casually slipping into a no-pants outfit that may just rank up there with one of her best looks, yet — a feat in itself, considering that she's stepped out recently in a hooded gold gown, a throwback Rodarte lace dress, and a Very Good Coat. Hathaway's stylist, Erin Walsh, shared a snapshot of the actress today on Instagram showing her in a Valentino ensemble that offered up an exaggerated take on the go-to big top, tiny bottom fashion formula, only the bottoms were so microscopic, it looked like Anne had skipped out on pants altogether.

Walsh clarified that the Oscar winner was, indeed, wearing tiny pants in her caption, which also shared that the whole 'fit came from Valentino, including the over-the-top giant red button-up and barely-there pants. Walsh even shouted out creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli for the look and tagged Proenza Schouler for Hathaway's over-the-knee black boots. Hathaway finished the look with sheer tights and Bulgari jewels.

"Anne in NYC yesterday for #Eileen @eileenmovie✨💫 ," Walsh wrote. "On Wednesdays we wear no pants ❤️‍🔥 well, to be fair, @maisonvalentino @pppiccioli did make the cutest teeniest little pants which are hiding here but you get the idea!"

Hathaway recently opened up about ageism in Hollywood for an interview with NET-A-PORTER’s digital publication, PORTER

“I was warned that my career would fall off a cliff at the age of 35, which is something I know a lot of women face,” Hathaway, age 41, said. “The thing that has evolved during [that time] is that more women are having careers deeper into their lives, which I think is fantastic.”

She added that being in the entertainment industry for more than two decades only makes her more focused on creating things that she loves, regardless of what people may think.

“I’ve always been really upfront about being an ambitious person,” she said. “I have goals, I have dreams; they don’t look much different than they did when I was [younger], but I’m still pursuing them. It’s something I feel is not just essential for my health — I’m on a team, it’s my family, and it’s not just about me.”
