Anne Hathaway Just Declared She's Anti-Skinny Jeans

She's more than onboard with the oversized denim trend.

Skinny jeans are officially out — at least, as far as Anne Hathaway is concerned. For more than a year now, the actress has embraced the big, baggy denim trend — from her wide-leg trouser jeans in Cannes to the roomy, cuffed pair she sported while running errands in Manhattan. And on Friday, she confirmed that the beloved oversized style isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

Spotted out and about with filmmaker Rebecca Miller in New York City, Anne kept her look laidback with a pair of baggy gray-wash jeans with massively oversized square-shaped pockets in the front. The boyfriend silhouette lent a sense of nonchalance, as did her white T-shirt, which she tucked into the waistband of her pants. A black leather jacket was casually slung over her arm, and she accessorized with a matching black leather shoulder bag and a pair of silver metallic, pointy-toe boots.

Anne's long brunette hair was worn down in loose waves with a middle part, and she let her glowing complexion take centerstage, adding only a swipe of blush and pink lipstick to her beauty look.

Rebecca, meanwhile, wore a black blouse with black straight-leg jeans and brown lace-up boots.

Earlier this week, Hathaway spoke about working with Miller on the new romantic drama She Came To Me during a interview with People. Revealing that she first auditioned for one of Miller's projects 20 years ago, Anne explained, "I'm very proud of my teenage self for having such exquisite taste that I recognized, in Rebecca, someone that I really aspired to be more like." She added, "And so the idea that we found each other at the right time with the right part, and now I just get to be friends with her."
