There was an array of cool crops on the 2024 Golden Globes red carpet, but bobs, in particular, were the big trend of the night. Even Jennifer Aniston debuted a fresh chop and modernized version of her famous "Rachel" haircut from Friends.
While some stars, like Ayo Edebiri and America Ferrera, joined Aniston in showing off new bobbed looks, other tried-and-true bob-wearers like Emma Stone and Greta Lee sported theirs as coiffed to perfection as ever. Scroll through to see all of the best bobs from the 2024 Golden Globes below:
America Ferrera
America Ferrera chopped her lengths a few weeks ago and styled her newish bob with a side part and flipped-out ends. With one side tucked behind her ears, Ferrera's sparkly earrings also got the chance to shine. Celebrity stylist Aviva Perea styled the look using Briogeo products and Dyson tools.
Jennifer Annistion
Almost thirty years since Jennifer Aniston debuted what became known as the "Rachel" cut on Friends, the actress wore a modernized take for the Golden Globes. Compared to the original cut, tonight's look featured more subtle layering and a less-pronounced side part.
Cailee Spaeny
Elvis actress (and InStyle's October cover star) Cailee Spaeny wore her signature cropped cut with simple, classic styling. Her side sweep boasted lots of volume at the root, while her ends were accented by a sweet and subtle curl. Her sleek strands are courtesy of the newly launched ghd Chronos styler ($329).
Ayo Edebiri
The Bear actress Ayo Edebiri debuted a chic flipped bob with a poker-straight center part, created by celebrity hairstylist Miles Jeffries using Maui Moisture. It's cut right at her chin, allowing her drop earrings to have the perfect peek-a-boo moment.
Carey Mulligan
Maestro's Carey Mulligan is no stranger to the bob, and tonight, she wore hers in a sleek center part with bouncy, curled-under ends. Hairstylist Jenny Cho leaned on Briogeo's Farewell Frizz line to nail this look.
Greta Lee
Past Lives star Greta Lee styled her go-to bob in a romantic, side-swept look reminiscent of Old Hollywood waves. The look was also crafted by hairstylist Cho using products from Olivia Garden.
Emma Stone
Emma Stone is another bob-lover who chose to wear her strands flipped out with help from Mara Roszak, her hairstylist and the founder of RŌZ. While Stone's hair was dyed black for Poor Things, OLAPLEX global ambassador and celebrity colorist Tracey Cunningham got her hair back to red in the lead-up to awards season.
Naomi Watts
Actress Naomi Watts stuck to her signature bob with a classic deep side part. One side of her hair was sculpted into an S-wave, while the other was slicked back behind her ear courtesy of stylist Marki Shkreli.
Hannah Waddingham
Ted Lasso's Hannah Waddingham wore her blonde bob styled with a deep, dramatic side part and a subtle bend on her ends.
