Meghan Markle's Off-the-Shoulder Gown Is a Sophisticated Alternative to the Cutout Trend

The Invictus Games may be Prince Harry's thing, but during this week's countdown celebrations in Canada, Meghan Markle stole the show with her slew of amazing looks. First, she kicked off the couple's three-day trip while hitting the slopes with snow bunny style in chic winter whites, and after that, she accessorized her black outfit with navy blue winter gear, confirming once and for all that outdated fashion rules are meant to be broken. But she seemingly saved her best look for last, and wore a sexy off-the-shoulder dress to the One Year to Go Dinner at the Vancouver Convention Center on Friday. 

For the occasion, Meghan – who was spotted in a chic camel cape coat from Sentaler earlier in the day — traded in her puffer coats and boots for a glam gown, opting for an olive green, collarbone-baring number by Canadian designer Greta Constantine. The dress was sexy without being over-the-top, as it showed just a sliver of shoulder and nothing else. Gold jewelry from Logan Hollowell, Manolo Blahnik heels, and a sleek, side-parted chignon provided the finishing touches to her elegant evening look.

Harry, for his part, wore a navy blue suit with a white dress shirt and a sage green tie that coordinated with Meghan's dress. During the event, the Duke of Sussex took the stage to share a speech with the audience, who he thanked for making the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 "possible." 

"This year will mark ten years of the Invictus Games. The past decade has been a testament to the power of resilience and the unbreakable spirit you all exemplify. And boy have we had fun on the way! From this trip, I am happy to report the air is thick with excitement, and the best part is, we’re just getting started," he said, adding, "The Invictus Games are not just a competition; they’re a way of life, a celebration of the human spirit."
