Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are wishing their fans and supporters happy holidays. On Friday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex revealed their 2023 holiday card, which they sent out via email in partnership with their Archewell Foundation, featuring one of their most notable moments from the past year: the 2023 Invictus Games.
When crafting the card, Harry and Meghan decided to include a photo from the games’ closing ceremony (which took place in Düsseldorf, Germany, back in September) that saw them cheering alongside the crowd in glamorous attire. In the snap, Markle looked as fashionable as ever in a strapless, peacock-blue Cult Gaia gown that featured peekaboo cutouts and a calf-skimming length, while Harry wore a black button-up shirt layered under a matching black blazer. Although both royals accessorized with beaming smiles in the photo, Meghan added tiny gold hoop earrings, too.
“On behalf of the office of Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. We wish you a very happy holiday season,” the forest green card read, which also included a link to a video highlighting many of the pair’s accomplishments in 2023. “Thanks for all the support in 2023!”
While Meghan and Harry’s two children, Archie and Lilibet, weren’t featured in this year’s card, its reveal comes shortly after Markle opened up about how they’re liking the holiday season during an appearance at last month’s Variety Power of Women event.
“That’s a great question,” the mother-of-two replied when asked about her favorite holiday traditions. “Our little ones are little, and we're enjoying every moment of it.”
