Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may live rather jam-packed lives, but that never stops them from spending quality time with their children, Archie and Lilibet. The family’s most recent memory-making outing? A classic round of trick-or-treating, which took place in their neighborhood of Montecito, California, on Tuesday night.
Early Wednesday morning, a clip surfaced on X (formerly known as Twitter) that saw the sweet family of four making the rounds wearing their Halloween best. In the clip, 4-year-old Archie appeared to be dressed up as a skeleton, while his younger sister Lilibet, 2, wore a pink costume. While both parents opted to skip the costumes — Meghan and Harry wore similar variations of dark T-shirts paired with blue jeans, sneakers, and baseball caps — Harry did decide to dress up his outfit (at least for a bit) by holding onto Lilibet’s pumpkin-shaped basket while she took a break from trick or treating and got wrapped up in Meghan’s arms.
Although Meghan and Harry’s children may be trick-or-treating pros by now, their outing comes just two years after Markle got candid about Archie and Lilibet’s complete meltdown from Halloween's past when talking to Ellen Degeneres back in 2021.
“We were home and we saw you guys [DeGeneres and her wife Portia de Rossi], which was great, but we wanted to do something fun for the kids, and then the kids were just not into it at all,” Meghan laughed. “Archie was a dinosaur for maybe five minutes.”
“Not even five minutes,” Degeneres quipped before Meghan added, “Finally Harry talked him into putting the head on, but Lili was a skunk … like Flower from Bambi.”
