Couture Week is continuing to give us a parade of over-the-top celebrity looks — which have already included Jennifer Lopez wearing real rose petals and Kylie Jenner matching her daughter Stormi in all-black Valentino — but leave it to Zendaya to not only wear one of the buzziest colors of the season, but add a touch of sporty spice to a couture gown. The star arrived at the Fendi Couture show today in a skin-tight, floor-skimming gown that featured long sleeves and thumbholes, a detail that just about everyone loves when it comes on track jackets and hoodies.
Zendaya's Fendi dress also featured exposed shoulders and an open back framed by a thick halter-style strap. She finished the ensemble with diamond earrings, an ombré lip look, and a slicked-back low bun. For anyone looking for proof of burgundy's prevalence on the red carpet and on fellow A-listers, Dua Lipa wore a similarly hued deep burgundy gown to the premiere of Argylle just yesterday
Zendaya is no stranger to the couture front row. This season, she's already made an appearance at the Schiaparelli show, where she debuted sci-fi bangs (via a wig) and wore a look from the collection that included a statement-making futuristic equestrian tail-slash-train. The superstar's style has earned her so many opportunities that we've almost lost count: she's the face of Louis Vuitton, she was previously an ambassador for Valentino, and she's also one of Bvlgari's spokespeople, along with Anne Hathaway and Blackpink's Lisa.
While it's great to see the star taking in the best the fashion world has to offer, fans are waiting for the next installment of Dune, which sees her reprising her role of Chani. Dune: Part Two hits theaters on Mar. 1.
