Cardi B Confirmed That She and Offset Have Separated

After months of speculation, rapper Cardi B confirmed that she and her husband, Offset, are no longer an item. She revealed details of the breakup during a recent broadcast on Instagram Live, which was posted by PopCrave. The news comes after rumors that Offset had cheated on Cardi, which stemmed from rapper Blueface's claim that Offset slept with his ex, Chrisean Rock — "I ain't never talk or touch that lady. Real talk man you need some help!" Offset wrote on X after the accusations.

"When it comes (to) today's events, I don't think it's true, I don't care to find out, because I been single for a minute now," Cardi said on IG live, noting that she had struggled with the situation and wasn't sure how to announce it.

"I just don't know how to tell the world. But I feel like today has been a sign," she said. "The last time I got on Live I kind of wanted to tell you guys, but I didn't know how to tell you, so I changed my mind. But it has been like this for a minute now."

A few days ago, fans noticed that Cardi and Offset had unfollowed one another on Instagram and Cardi posted a cryptic message on her Stories that read people can "out grow [sic] relationships." 

"I wanna start 2024, like, fresh, open," she added in the Live. "I don't know. I'm curious for a new life, for a new beginning. And yeah, I'm excited."

Cardi and Offset married back in 2017. Since then, their relationship has made headlines, with the two splitting a year later, after the birth of their 5-year-old daughter, Kulture. Cardi filed for divorce in 2020, but the two never officially split and they welcomed a son, Wave, in 2021. She confirmed that there was no infidelity and that those rumors were unsubstantiated. 

"I'm OK. I want to let y'all know I have not shed not one tear," added in her recent broadcast before thanking fans for sticking by her. "It's not because of cheating. I just got tired of ... arguing, I got tired of not seeing things eye to eye. When you feel like it's just not the same anymore, before you actually get cheated on I'd rather just leave."
