Channing Tatum and his daughter, Everly, had the sweetest daddy-and-me moment on the red carpet over the weekend, and it's clear the 10-year-old is well on her way to being a pro in front of the flashbulbs. The father-daughter duo hit the carpet together for the New York City premiere of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba - To the Hashira Training and posed with two characters from the animated film.
And while the event wasn't the sort of glam and glitzy happening that we're used to seeing from Tatum, he did dress the part in a black-and-teal checkerboard-print hoodie that matched character Tanjiro Kamado. And Everly got in on the cosplay action, too, wearing a purple wig to give a hint of Shinobu Kocho. The two smiled for the camera at the event, giving fans of this very famous family a reminder of just how cute the two are.
Tatum shares Everly with his ex, Jenna Dewan after the two separated in April 2018. The dancer and actress opened up about co-parenting in a recent interview, saying that it continues to be a learning experience for everyone involved.
"It's always a journey," Dewan told Romper. "It never ends. You just learn as you go and get better at certain things, and for me, Evie will always be my top priority. I just continually put her first. That's how I can manage all hard things."
Dewan also mentioned that having a second child made it harder to be apart from Everly. Dewan has a son, Callum, with her fiancé Steve Kazee.
"In the beginning, it was really tough. And it was definitely hard on her in the beginning, too, but she's gotten into the flow with that a lot more," she said. "But she loves Callum. She really adores him."
