Since I got my hands on Portofino '97 when it launched in September, it has been a staple in my fragrance wardrobe. It's a bright and alluring scent that Victoria Beckham designed to remind her of one of the first trips she and her then-boyfriend David took to Portofino, Italy. The top notes blend Calabrian bergamot and black pepper, followed by amber and incense in the middle and vetiver and patchouli. Whenever I stay at a hotel, the least exciting part is knowing I'm heading in without my beloved body-care products (I refuse to decant them into TSA-friendly containers). Usually, the hotel body products leave a lot to be desired, but during a recent stay, I got to experience the Nuxe Rêve de Miel line (which translates to dreams of honey), and now I want to use the cleansing gel every day for the rest of my life.
