Amal Clooney Is Sparking Joy With Her Red-Sequined Dress and Silver Heels

The holidays are just around the corner, and Amal Clooney is taking advantage of the entire month of December to celebrate with her festively-chic wardrobe.

After taking a subtle approach to holiday dressing in a black velvet two-piece set, the human rights lawyer landed herself on the other end of the spectrum with a sequin-soaked look on the red carpet. On Thursday, Clooney singlehandedly brought the holiday cheer to a screening of her husband George's new film The Boys in the Boat in Seattle. Wearing a red midi-length sleeveless dress adorned with party-ready paillettes and a sparkly tank-style neckline, Amal accessorized with silver pointed-toe pumps, a coordinating reflective clutch, and dangling diamond earrings.

She matched her crimson manicure to her dress and wore her long dark hair down in loose curls with a side part. Meanwhile, shimmery eyeshadow and a swipe of nude lipstick rounded out her glam. 

As for George, he traded in his signature black suit for a more casual winter look, wearing a navy turtleneck sweater underneath a dark gray peacoat, a matching pair of slacks, and dressy black boots.

Amal's latest outing comes right on the heels of another one of her dazzling appearances. On Monday, she attended the 2023 Fashion Awards in London in a gold-sequined ombré gown. The striking column design had smaller gold sequins along the bodice that turned into larger, oval-shaped paillettes farther down the dress. She finished off the look with a coordinating gold clutch, diamond earrings, and a smattering of sparkling rings on both hands.
