You've heard of a dance mom, but Julia Roberts just unlocked a whole new level of stage mom-dom: proud collegiate mother. The actress just opened up about how she adopted school spirit after her twins, Hazel Patricia and Phinnaeus Walter, went off the college, saying it has become her “entire life.” And the sentiment of attending school events decked out in gear bought at the campus bookstore is certainly something many moms (and college students) can relate to.
"I wear the colors,” Roberts said during a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “I do the whole thing.”
Roberts, who is currently promoting her new film Leave the World Behind, added that her younger child, Henry Daniel, is enjoying the only-child life at home.
“I think it's a good 50/50 split,” Roberts explained when asked by Jimmy Fallon. “He's loving it. And I think he misses his people.”
Roberts previously spoke about the excitement of sending her eldest off to college in an interview with Extra. “It's really thrilling and I wasn't lucky enough to have a college experience," she said at the time. "And so to see how it's happening for them is really fascinating. And yeah, I'm just, I'm excited for them.”
When she's not making up for her lack of college experience and exercising her school spirit, the actress is busy promoting her new film in a variety of fashion-forward 'fits. During her appearance on Fallon's show, she sported a black lace-trimmed maxiskirt styled with a matching blazer, black pointed-toe pumps, and a beaded statement necklace.
Earlier in the week, the actress was photographed in Soho wearing another monochromatic look that consisted of long black shorts, matching oversized blazer, sheer stockings, and coordinating patent leather loafers.
